Our story began on April 2022, in one of those moments that feels ordinary at first, but later reveals itself as the beginning of everything.
We were instantly drawn to each other—one smitten by a sun-kissed Mexico tan, the other charmed by quick comebacks and a slightly too-confident sense of humor. Something clicked, but life, as it often does, had its own pace.
We crossed paths again at our best friends’ wedding, where familiar smiles turned into longer conversations, and late night dances . From there, we stayed in touch with a connection quietly growing across distance and time.Later that year, a visit to Toronto changed everything. We met out on the town, laughter flowing as easily as the conversation, and from that night on, we haven’t gone a single day without talking.
Not long after, Mike traveled to Norway—and before we knew it, in fact Ten days later, we were reunited for christmas celebration in Canada. That visit marked the beginning of a life lived between places and time zones, but always moving toward each other. We traveled back and forth between Toronto and Lofoten in the Arctic, using every free moment and spending every dollar to be together. We surfed, skied, and hiked. We chased sunsets and greeted sunrises. Then we ate, drank, danced, and wandered hand in hand trough the city of Toronto, building memories wherever.
Within our first year together, life surprised us in the most beautiful way. A happy little miracle named Alma joined our story, and suddenly our love had a heartbeat outside of ourselves.Today, we are a family of three—living proof that home isn’t a place on a map, but where the heart feels full. And ours, no matter the distance, has always known exactly where it belongs.
