Here are the shortcuts Google maps is hiding...all events are walkable from Tyholmen Hotel :)

FRIDAY (18:00):

From Tyholmen Hotel: Walk to "Agder sparebank" next to library. To the RIGHT you will see a steep hill called Bendikskleiv. Here you can either walk up hill, or enter the parking house ("P- HUS") on left, and take elevator up to the roof (7th floor). Walk until you see a sign for "Møllers Asyl", at the top of the hill.

10 min walk

Check weather closer to the date, bring a warm sweater and skip the stilettos! It's a garden party and we plan to stay outside.

SATURDAY Cermony - Barbu kirke (seated 14:45)

From Tyholmen Hotel: Walk to "Arendal bibliotek", on the LEFT there is a tunnel taking you to Barbu, from there you walk straight up on Jens Gjerløws vei to the church.

Returning from church you can walk the scenic route back toward the hotel and reception. Go down the hill towards ocean, follow the water to the RIGHT and it will take you straight back to the town centre.

BOTH walks are approximately 20 mins.

SATURDAY Reception - meet outside Arendal gamle rådhuset 16:30

From Tyholmen Hotel: Turn LEFT out of the hotel, 2 minute walk.
